Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about bringing home your new companion.

The Adoption Process

How do I apply for a puppy?
Our process begins with the online application on our Contact page. We review each application to ensure our puppies are placed in environments that match their specific needs and temperament. Once approved, you'll be notified of upcoming litters.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes, as a boutique breeder, we prioritize quality over quantity. We usually have a waiting list of 3-6 months. We recommend applying early if you have a specific timing in mind.

Health & Care

What health testing do you perform?
For our Poodles, we screen for hip dysplasia, eye conditions (PRA), and von Willebrand's disease. For our Dachshunds, we focus on IVDD risks and progressive retinal atrophy. All parents are DNA tested for breed-relevant genetic markers.
When can my puppy come home?
Puppies are ready for their forever homes between 8 and 10 weeks of age, depending on their individual development and the final sign-off from our veterinarian.

Logistics

Do you ship puppies?
We do not ship puppies as cargo. We strongly prefer families to pick up their puppy in person. If travel is an issue, we can recommend professional flight nannies who will accompany your puppy in the cabin.
What is included with my puppy?
Your puppy comes with a health certificate, a detailed vaccination record, a microchip, a starter bag of premium food, a blanket with mama's scent, and our lifetime breeder support.
