Terms & Conditions

Our commitment to transparency and the welfare of our puppies.

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the sale and placement of puppies from Little Paws Legacy. By submitting an application or placing a deposit, you agree to comply with these terms in full. Our primary focus is the long-term health and happiness of our puppies.

2. Deposits & Reservations

A non-refundable reservation fee is required to be placed on our active waiting list. This fee confirms your commitment and will be applied toward the total purchase price of your puppy.

  • Fees are non-refundable except in the event that a puppy cannot be provided within a reasonable timeframe.
  • The breeder reserves the right to refuse any applicant at any time prior to the final sale if a suitable environment cannot be confirmed.

3. Health Guarantee

We provide a 12-month limited health guarantee against life-threatening congenital defects. To maintain this guarantee:

  • The puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup.
  • The owner must provide age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and routine wellness care.
  • High-quality nutrition and weight management are mandatory, especially for Dachshunds to prevent back issues.

4. Spay & Neuter Agreement

All puppies are sold as companion pets only with a strict spay/neuter requirement. No breeding rights are granted unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. Proof of sterilization from a licensed veterinarian must be provided to the breeder by the time the puppy reaches 12 months of age.

5. Lifetime Return Policy

If at any point in the puppy’s life the owner can no longer care for them, the puppy must be returned to Little Paws Legacy. We commit to the lifelong welfare of every animal we breed and will ensure they find a safe, loving alternative home. Our puppies must never be placed in a shelter or rescue facility.
